Job Description
As an Exploitation Analyst (EA) with AV, you will support offensive cyber operations (OCO) by aligning technical requirements under identified areas of interest. Additionally, you will collaborate with stake holders at every level to identify project objectives and conduct vulnerability research. Further, you will inform and educate organization leadership on groundbreaking techniques, developments, and hardships encountered.
Position Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth target analysis and research.
- Develop innovative tradecraft, exploitation techniques, and concepts of operation.
- Work closely with mission partners to effectively analyze and process intelligence information.
- Provide subject matter expertise to all components of the organization.
- Guide the customer through the cyber planning phase and operations.
- Conduct high visibility briefings during key leader engagements.
Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Prior exploitation analyst experience (Red Team experience to be considered).
- Knowledge of computer security principles, vulnerability analysis & research, and exploitation techniques.
- Deep technical knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods for network connectivity (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, etc.) .
- Experience conducting traffic analysis and use of associated tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, libpcap).
- Proficiency with Python.
- Experience using a Linux/Unix system (recommended)
- An active TS/SCI clearance with poly.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting the IC in a cyber analyst or EA.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary Range: $102,000 - $200,000
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
ITAR Requirement:
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. A “U.S. person” according to their definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee, or asylee. See 22 CFR § 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
