Kimley-Horn is hiring a Environmental Science Analyst, full-time, on-site in Oakland, CA, in the INFRASTRUCTURE sector.
Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for Environmental Science graduates with 1+ years of experience to join our Oakland, CA office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of CEQA and NEPA environmental documents.
Support project teams with environmental research, data collection, and technical analyses.
Coordinate with environmental specialists, planners, engineers, and project managers.
Help prepare permit applications and regulatory agency submittals.
Conduct desktop research related to environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and project constraints.
Assist with field investigations, site visits, and environmental documentation efforts.
Support proposal development, project pursuits, and business development activities.
Maintain project files, schedules, and deliverables in accordance with Kimley-Horn standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting infrastructure, transportation, utility, water, and energy projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Planning, Biology, Geography, Natural Resources, or a related field.
1+ year of relevant environmental consulting, planning, or internship experience.
Interest in environmental compliance, permitting, and impact assessment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
