Months of work, one stack. We are locked in and ready to fly, Altair-1, the first phase of a 50-satellite constellation built to power AI
As a proud partner to Orbitworks, we can't wait to see it head to orbit. Launch day is here.
Why this matters for talent
Loft Orbital's Altair-1 satellite, the first phase of a 50-satellite AI constellation built with Orbitworks, is now in orbit and being commissioned. Commissioning work is a real near term need for satellite operations and ground systems talent, and Loft Orbital already lists more than 50 open roles on the board. A successful first phase of a 50-satellite build usually means the company is staffing up for the next ones, not winding down.
