This role serves as a hands-on analyst across Finance while partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Program Finance, Operations, Contracts, HR, and IT to help ensure acquired businesses transition smoothly into enterprise standards without disrupting close, reporting, or day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills with organization, cross-functional coordination, and process discipline. This position helps translate integration requirements into practical analyses, trackers, documentation, and follow-through that support scalable, audit-ready ways of working.

Primary Success Factors

- Process Documentation and Controls – Prepare procedures, desktop instructions, and supporting control documentation and make sure they are complete, current, and aligned to corporate standards.
- Cross-Functional Partnership - Strong collaboration across finance and business teams helps resolve issues, maintain momentum, and support effective change adoption.
- Continuous Improvement - Lessons learned are captured and converted into stronger templates, trackers, reporting tools, and repeatable integration practices.

Position Responsibilities

- Support the finance integration workstream for acquired businesses by maintaining plans, trackers, issue logs, and status reporting across close, reporting, controls, policies, and systems.
- Assist with preparing financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and reporting in support of acquisition integration, business planning, and management decision making.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Program Finance, Tax, Treasury, Contracts, HR, IT, and Operations to coordinate integration activities, dependencies, and required deliverables.
- Assist with transitioning acquired entities into corporate ERP, consolidation, planning, and reporting environments, including data gathering, mapping support, cutover preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Review, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data to develop observations, preliminary recommendations, and variance explanations for management.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc presentations, monthly reporting packages, metrics, and management updates related to integration progress, open items, financial risks, and key decisions.
- Document finance processes, standard operating procedures, desktop instructions, templates, and roles and responsibilities for newly integrated businesses and related finance activities.
- Assess acquired-business processes and controls, identify gaps relative to corporate standards, and support remediation actions through closure.
- Support month-end close and audit readiness activities by organizing documentation, responding to information requests, and coordinating process or control evidence across stakeholders.
- Help standardize finance methodologies, templates, trackers, and reporting tools to improve consistency, scalability, and training effectiveness across future integrations.
- Facilitate working sessions, process walkthroughs, and follow-up actions to support issue resolution, change adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of finance operations, compliance, and acquisition integration priorities.
