About this role

Anduril Industries is hiring a Division Operations Senior Associate, Maritime, full-time, on-site in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States, in the Aerospace sector.

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Maritime Division, one of Anduril's fastest growing divisions, has assembled a diverse team of experts in software, robotics, artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and data analysis to create software and hardware solutions that radically evolve the capabilities of our customers. We are fielding the next generation of autonomous systems to tackle the extremely challenging demands of maritime operations, and today we are executing on billion-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations. Our expanding product portfolio, including Dive-XL, Dive-LD, Copperhead, Seabed Sentry, and other unannounced systems, will deliver a coherent system-of-systems that enables the end-to-end conduct of autonomous missions in the maritime domain.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Division Operations Senior Associate to join our rapidly growing Maritime Division Operations team in Quincy, MA. The Division Operations team is a small but mighty group of talented business generalists who enable the division to scale through hyper-growth while breaking as few things as possible. We are looking for someone to help us build the business infrastructure required to grow Maritime into Anduril's largest division over the next few years.

This role is offered at a flexible level: a strong candidate earlier in their career will join as an IC3 and own a focused set of initiatives, while a more experienced candidate will join as an IC4 and take on broader scope, more ambiguity, and more cross-functional leadership. We will calibrate scope to the person.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will act as the connective tissue across the division, supporting the design, development, and implementation of new processes, strategy, and execution plans across complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and often "gray area" scope. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects across the division, establishing scalable operations in areas such as product management, pricing, production, supply chain, facilities, and compliance.
  • Coordinate and prepare for leadership meetings, from setting agendas to tracking action items and ensuring follow-through so decisions actually land.
  • Support internal team operations like new-employee onboarding, all-hands, and internal business reviews, so we rapidly ramp new employees and sustain a culture of "doing things differently."
  • Support our corporate planning cycle by helping build and monitor performance against goals, financial plans, and headcount plans so we hit our aggressive growth targets.
  • Help establish the operating model and battle rhythm for a rapidly growing team, with an emphasis on repeatable execution patterns. At the IC4 level, you will own this.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 3+ years of experience in a combination of engineering and business operations (typically consulting, tech operations, finance, or general business analysis). More experienced candidates will be considered at the IC4 level.
  • You love solving complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric way.
  • You are both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.
  • You get energy from being a thought partner for others, and it excites you to translate operational problems into data problems and then go execute on them.
  • You are discerning and an incredibly fast learner.
  • You are tactical and don't only sit at the 30,000-foot level.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
US Salary Range $124,000 — $164,000 USD
