Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As an Advanced Finance Specialist, you’ll support GDMS senior leadership through financial analysis that enhances organizational performance and profitability. You’ll provide financial oversight for complex projects, departments, and cost pools, supporting budgeting, forecasting, pricing, planning, invoicing, and cost control. Your work will inform executive decisions and support critical defense services.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree plus a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit and reporting requirements.

Experience using Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

Proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including Excel PivotTables and slicers.

Experience analyzing complex financial data, reconciling financial accounts, and performing month-end close activities.

What you’ll experience

Prepare, analyze, and evaluate financial information for budgets, forecasts, pricing, planning, invoicing, and cost control across departments and cost pools.

Set financial targets, monitor actual costs and allocations against budgets, and deliver variance analyses that identify root causes and assess current and future financial performance.

Develop financial analyses and executive deliverables that support strategic planning, organizational performance, and profitability.

Evaluate investment and business opportunities, future trends, and the financial impact of government requirements and regulations; summarize recommendations and perform month-end close activities for assigned areas.

Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What sets you apart

Certifications in data analytics, Python, or robotic process automation.

Experience developing finance dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau or Power BI.

Experience evaluating investment and business opportunities and modeling their financial impact.

Experience developing next-generation finance technologies and processes.

Workplace Options:

This position is on-site with the option to flex moving forward. You will be based out of Scottsdale AZ or Taunton MA, and we are not offering a relocation package at this time.

Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $96,500.00 /Yr.
