Senior Advanced Machinist Technician

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Technical certificate or 7 years of experience or equivalent is also equired.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

By reading and following instructions including blueprints, you’ll form and shape complex material by operating lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines, brakes and shears and light-duty bench or floor machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws. Additionally, the Senior Advanced Machinist Technician will set up machines, make adjustments, perform maintenance and check work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.

What you bring to the table:

An Associate’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Certificate in SolidWorks and experience in ProtoTRAK Mill and Lathe and/or HAAS Mill and Lathe

Ability to provide direction and delegate work

Ability to use mechanical hand and simple power tools

Distinct leadership, computer, organization and communication skills

Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range
USD $43.50 - USD $47.71 /Hr.
