General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring a Software Engineer for Linux Applications in Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions, full-time, on-site in Scottsdale, AZ, in the DEFENSE sector.
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for Crypto and Cross Domain solutions, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing next generation cryptography.

Experience with Vitis/Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal) a plus
Experience with SW Defined Radio or Satellite applications a plus
Experience with Secure Red/Black Separation architecture a plus
Experience with Docker and podman on Linux a plus
Experience with Windriver Linux a plus

USD $100,219.00 - USD $111,180.00 /Yr.
