About this role

Hadrian is hiring a Capital Markets Manager, full-time, on-site in Los Angeles, CA, in the Aerospace sector.

Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.

Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.

Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.

If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

The Role:

This person leads execution of Hadrian’s capital markets activity, with a primary emphasis on debt capital markets. They will translate Hadrian’s operational and financial needs (new factories, machine capex, working capital, and growth) into well-structured, executable financing transactions across both corporate and asset-backed contexts, and drive those transactions from structuring through diligence, negotiation, and close. They will own relationships with banks, private credit funds, and other debt capital providers, and partner closely with the CFO, SVP of Capital Markets, Treasury, FP&A, and Legal to align financing strategy with liquidity planning, capital allocation, and long-term planning. The role is explicitly outward-facing and execution-focused, operates comfortably in non-standard situations where Hadrian’s model does not fit traditional corporate lending frameworks, and will grow into building out the capital markets function as Hadrian’s financing cadence scales.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end execution of debt transactions (credit facilities, term loans, private credit, equipment and facility financing, and structured debt) from initial structuring through diligence, negotiation, and closing.

  • Structure financing solutions across corporate and asset-backed contexts, tailored to Hadrian’s operating model, including equipment finance, receivables facilities, sale-leasebacks, project-level debt, and government-backed loans.

  • Own lender engagement and process management: build and manage relationships with banks, private credit funds, and institutional lenders; run competitive financing processes and coordinate diligence.

  • Lead term sheet negotiation, documentation, and closing in partnership with Legal, outside counsel, and finance leadership, with a clear point of view on pricing, covenants, security, and flexibility trade-offs.

  • Drive speed, certainty, and flexibility in capital access by proactively developing financing capacity and options ahead of need.

  • Partner with the CFO, SVP of Capital Markets, Treasury, and FP&A to align financing strategy with liquidity planning, cash forecasting, capital allocation priorities, and the operating plan.

  • Own the capital structure, debt capacity, and credit / downside models that underpin financing decisions, and set the standard for the team’s analytical work.

  • Present financing strategy and recommendations to the CFO, SVP of Capital Markets, Exec team, and Board; prepare lender and investor materials for live processes.

  • Oversee lender reporting and credit agreement compliance (compliance certificates, borrowing base and covenant calculations), and manage ongoing amendments, waivers, and upsizes.

  • Monitor debt and equity capital markets across A&D, industrials, and defense tech to benchmark Hadrian’s terms and identify windows of opportunity.

  • Mentor and develop analysts and associates on the team, and help build out the capital markets function as it scales, including future rating agency engagement and public-market readiness.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–8+ years of experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets, private credit, project finance, investment banking or structured finance, or in a corporate-side capital markets role.

  • Significant experience executing debt transactions end to end, including structuring, diligence, documentation, and closing.

  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, capital structures, and lender dynamics, including pricing, covenants, security packages, and key credit agreement terms.

  • Experience working directly with banks, direct lenders, and private credit funds, and the ability to independently drive complex, external-facing processes under tight timelines.

  • Advanced financial modeling skills with a focus on credit and downside analysis.

  • Strong judgment in structuring and negotiating complex transactions, with the presence to represent Hadrian in front of lenders, investors, and the Board.

  • High ownership and accountability for external execution, a bias toward action, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.

  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience in structured or asset-backed financing (e.g., equipment finance, receivables facilities, project-based debt, sale-leasebacks).

  • Experience in capital-intensive or operationally complex industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, manufacturing, infrastructure).

  • Familiarity with government contracting environments (FAR, CAS, DCAA, contract types) and how they shape cash flow and credit profile.

  • Familiarity with government financing programs (e.g., DoD Office of Strategic Capital, DPA Title III, state and local incentives) and how they fit into a capital stack.

  • Experience with equity, convertible, and hybrid instruments, and evaluating debt vs. dilution trade-offs.

  • Experience building or scaling a capital markets or treasury function at a high-growth company.

  • An established network across the bank, private credit, and defense / space / manufacturing investor ecosystem.

Compensation

For this role, the target salary range is $200,000 - $230,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Benefits for Full-time Employees

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
    401k

  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Equity
