- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities related to nonconforming purchased hardware.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including counterfeit parts risk for EEE components.
- Support make/buy analysis and sourcing strategy development for new programs.

Minimum Requirements

- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of procurement/buying experience in aerospace, defense, or a related high-reliability manufacturing environment.
- Experience purchasing EEE components and/or precision machined hardware to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with flight hardware quality/traceability requirements (e.g., certs of compliance, material certs, source inspection).
- Understanding of export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) as they apply to procurement.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Ability to work in multiple systems (support multiple sites)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with obsolescence management and alternate/second-source qualification for EEE parts.
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Experience working with machine shops on precision-machined aerospace components (tolerances, materials, surface finishes).
- Knowledge of counterfeit parts avoidance practices (AS5553 or similar).
- Experience with long-lead procurement planning for spacecraft or satellite programs.
