Lucid is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment and facility support systems to maximize uptime, quality, and safety. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, and conveyance systems, documents work in a maintenance management system, and partners with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement.
About the Team
The Maintenance team in Casa Grande ensures that all production and facility systems operate safely, reliably, and with minimal downtime. The team supports highly automated manufacturing lines and works closely with engineering, production, and quality to keep equipment running at peak performance. This group is unique in its exposure to advanced automation, robotics, and high ‑ precision manufacturing systems. Their work directly impacts throughput, uptime, and the overall efficiency of Lucid’s manufacturing operations.
About the Role
This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. It exists to support growing production demands and ensure equipment reliability as Lucid expands its manufacturing capabilities. The technician will own preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. In the first 12 months, success will be measured by reductions in unplanned downtime, accurate CMMS documentation, and effective collaboration with production and engineering teams. A strong candidate will gain hands ‑ on experience with advanced automation and high ‑ tech manufacturing systems that are not commonly found in comparable facilities.
What You Own
- Electrical systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment from 24 VDC to 480 VAC, restoring functionality and preventing repeat failures.
- Mechanical systems: Diagnose and repair mechanical and conveyance systems, ensuring proper alignment, component replacement, and long-term reliability.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems: Maintain and repair pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, and supply systems to ensure proper pressure and flow.
- Automation support: Assist with troubleshooting PLCs, drives/VFDs, robots, and automation networks, and support commissioning of new equipment.
- Preventive maintenance: Execute PM tasks that directly impact equipment uptime, safety, and performance.
- Technical documentation: Maintain accurate CMMS entries, documenting work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Continuous improvement: Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- High school diploma or GED

Ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal form and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of electrical controls and automation (PLCs, VFDs, sensors, robotics)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with welding or cutting (MIG, TIG, stick) and basic fabrication
- Experience with lifting/rigging, pipe fitting, or rebuilding cylinders and valves
- Certifications such as high ‑ climb, confined space, or lift equipment operation
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking: Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift in a production environment.
- Manual dexterity: Frequent use of hands for tools, assembly, and machinery operation; requires fine motor skills and grip strength.
- Lifting and carrying: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 10–50 lbs regularly; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Reaching and bending: Routine reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, and squatting.
- Repetitive motions: Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements for fastening, positioning, and installing components. Climbing: Occasional ladder or step climbing to access elevated work areas.
- PPE expectations: Must wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, protective sleeves, eye and hearing protection).
Work Requirement
This role is fully onsite at Casa Grande, AZ. Daily in ‑ person presence is required .

Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
