We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. About the Team
Lucid’s Network and Business Development team shapes how we expand our commercial presence across Europe. The team identifies and appoints high-quality dealer and retail partners capable of representing Lucid and supporting sustainable market growth. Working closely with Network Planning, Sales, Aftersales, Finance, Legal, and Retail Development, the team turns market strategy into commercially viable partner relationships. In Germany, this means building the right partner network to support Lucid’s next phase of growth.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Development Manager to lead the identification, engagement, evaluation, and appointment of dealer and retail partners in Germany. Reporting to the Director, Network & Business Development, you will manage opportunities from initial contact through due diligence, internal approval, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
This is a true network development and partner acquisition role, rather than a traditional sales, field, or dealer-operations position. You will use your knowledge of the German automotive retail landscape and your existing dealer network to identify and engage the right partners for Lucid. Once appointed, you will maintain the strategic relationship and identify opportunities to further expand Lucid’s representation with those partners.
Success will mean building a credible German partner pipeline, securing strategically and commercially strong partners, and progressing opportunities efficiently from first engagement to signed agreement. This is an opportunity to play a direct role in shaping how Lucid develops its retail network in one of Europe’s most important automotive markets.
What You Own
-
Partner Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure high-quality dealer and retail partners across Germany, using your knowledge and network within the German automotive retail landscape.
-
Partner Evaluation: Assess prospective partners against Lucid’s commercial and strategic requirements, including financial capability, investment appetite, organizational strength, market presence, and long-term potential.
-
Business Cases: Evaluate partner proposals, investment plans, operating models, volume assumptions, and commercial viability, translating your assessment into clear recommendations for internal decision-makers.
-
Commercial Negotiations: Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with dealer principals, owners, board members, and senior executives through to agreed terms and contract execution.
-
Due Diligence & Approvals: Own the partner acquisition process from initial evaluation through due diligence and internal approval, coordinating closely with Legal, Finance, Aftersales, Retail Development, and other stakeholders.
-
Strategic Relationships: Maintain senior relationships with appointed partners, monitor key contractual and investment commitments, and address material commercial or relationship matters.
-
Network Expansion: Identify opportunities to grow successful partnerships through additional locations, territories, retail formats, or representation opportunities within Germany.

- An established network of contacts within the German automotive retail and dealer-group landscape, with the credibility to engage dealer principals, owners, board members, and senior executives.
- Strong understanding of dealer, agency, and other automotive retail models, combined with commercial negotiation, business-case assessment, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Fluent German and strong professional English, with the willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Germany.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing a premium, luxury, or electric vehicle retail network.
- Experience managing the full partner acquisition lifecycle, including due diligence, internal approvals, commercial negotiation, and contracting.
