- Perform continuity, polarity, grounding, connector engagement, pin integrity, insulation resistance, dielectric withstand, torque, labeling, and functional verification checks, as required.
- Use calibrated electrical test equipment, diagnostic tools, fixtures, golden samples, and approved end-of-line test systems to verify product conformity and process compliance.
- Identify, segregate, label, and document nonconforming material and support containment, sorting, re-inspection, controlled repair, software or calibration verification, and revalidation under the direction of the Powertrain Quality Electrical Engineer.
- Escalate abnormalities promptly and provide diagnostic evidence, test results, measurements, photographs, fault codes, and traceability information to support customer protection and rapid decision-making.
- Accurately record inspection, test, repair, containment, and audit results in approved Quality, MES, QMS, diagnostic, and traceability systems.
- Support root cause investigations, corrective action trials, validation builds, test-limit verification, and effectiveness checks for electrical, electronic, diagnostic, communication, and high-voltage defects related to internal failures and Field Quality feedback.
- Conduct workmanship inspections for harness routing, connector seating, terminal condition, sealing, grounding, labeling, fastener torque, damage, contamination, and assembly standards.
- Support test-equipment qualification, measurement system analysis, calibration checks, correlation studies, line trials, safe launch, launch readiness reviews, and engineering or software change implementation.
- Participate in layered process audits, product audits, compliance checks, and verification of standardized work and electrical safety controls.
