Manager, Enterprise Fleet Support
About this role
Path Robotics is hiring a Manager, Enterprise Fleet Support, full-time, on-site in Columbus, Ohio, in the ROBOTICS sector.
Build the Path Forward
At Path Robotics, we’re attacking a trillion dollar opportunity - doing things that have never been done before to support an industry hurting from a lack of skilled labor. Big, hard problems are what Path tackles every day and our people are our greatest asset to get that job done. Our intelligent, hardworking team of people do the impossible every single day, yet remain incredibly kind, humble, and always ready to support one another.
The Fleet Manager owns enterprise support on the customer floor: the Fleet Techs who run cells, troubleshoot hardware and software, and step in to staff 4-arm and tank-style cells when customers need it.
What You will do
- Lead the 4 Arm Lead, TC (2/1 Arm) Lead, and UP Specialized Lead; set staffing, rotations, and travel across customer sites.
- Own on-floor troubleshooting standards: basic hardware swaps, software swaps, and escalation to Mission Control or Engineering.
- Staff cells directly when contracted, especially 4-arm and tank-like cells.
- Hire, onboard, and certify Fleet Techs; define the skills ladder from Fleet Tech to Lead.
- Partner with CSMs on each account's floor reality and with the Fleet Maintenance Manager on PM and safety.
- Report floor metrics (uptime, response time, repeat issues) into Performance Transparency.
Who You Are
- 7+ years in field service or manufacturing operations for automation equipment, 3+ years managing distributed technician teams.
- Comfortable on a weld floor; understands robotic cell operation well enough to coach troubleshooting.
- Proven at scaling a team quickly: hiring pipelines, certification programs, and multi-site scheduling.
- Customer-facing presence; can handle a plant manager escalation in person.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, still-forming org; this role will help define its own processes as the team scales.
