About this role

Stoke Space is hiring a CAD/PLM Administrator (NX & Teamcenter), full-time, on-site in Kent, Washington, in the Aerospace sector.

At Stoke, we believe a thriving space economy will enable a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable future here on Earth. That is why we’re building Nova, our fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle. Designed for daily flight, Nova tackles the core challenges of space transportation by reducing cost, increasing availability, and improving reliability. By radically lowering launch costs and increasing flight cadence, we’re helping create a truly scalable space industry.

Our team is mission-driven, collaborative, and empowered to take ownership of their work. If you want to work alongside some of the most dedicated and talented people on Earth, we’d love to have you join us.

Description

Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Building them requires dependable engineering tools and responsive support that keeps our teams designing and building.

As Stoke’s CAD/PLM Administrator, you will support and maintain our Siemens NX and Teamcenter environment. You will work directly with engineers to troubleshoot problems, maintain application configurations, manage reusable design content, and make everyday workflows more efficient.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with CAD tools, solving technical problems, and helping others succeed. You will partner with engineering and IT to keep the environment reliable, support software updates, and implement practical improvements as Stoke grows.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day user support. Troubleshoot NX and Teamcenter issues, help engineers get unstuck, and coordinate with IT or vendor support when additional expertise is needed
  • Maintain NX configurations. Manage configuration files, customer defaults, templates, material databases, and other shared resources to provide a consistent experience across the team
  • Administer Teamcenter. Maintain user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions in coordination with IT and engineering. Support existing workflows, preferences, and routine application configuration
  • Support engineering data workflows. Help users resolve issues involving check-in/check-out, revisions, product structures, and release processes while maintaining established data-management practices
  • Maintain the reuse library. Create, update, and organize common parts, reusable features, and templates. Regularly work in NX to validate this content and stay familiar with the tools our engineers use
  • Support upgrades and deployments. Coordinate with IT to test and deploy NX and Teamcenter updates, validate common workflows, communicate changes, and resolve issues following rollout
  • Implement practical improvements. Identify recurring problems and repetitive tasks, then improve configurations, documentation, or tools to reduce support needs and simplify users’ work
  • Maintain custom tools. Support existing macros, features, and interface enhancements, and assist with testing and deploying new capabilities
  • Document and share knowledge. Maintain troubleshooting guides, configuration records, and user instructions. Help onboard new users and provide training on common tasks and established practices
  • Monitor application and license issues. Track recurring errors, performance concerns, and license availability. Work with IT to address problems and maintain appropriate licensing

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting or administering Siemens NX in an engineering environment
  • Working knowledge of NX configurations, templates, reuse libraries, and material databases
  • Practical NX modeling skills, including creating and modifying parts and working with assemblies
  • Experience using and supporting Teamcenter, including familiarity with engineering data, revisions, and release workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through technical issues methodically
  • A service-oriented approach, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage competing support requests, and follow issues through to resolution
  • Ability to document procedures, learn unfamiliar tools, and work independently while coordinating with engineering and IT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering Teamcenter users, groups, roles, permissions, and application preferences
  • Experience supporting NX and Teamcenter installations, upgrades, or deployments
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) and basic data-model configuration
  • Experience creating or maintaining NX macros, journals, custom features, or other automation
  • Experience with NX surface modeling and large assemblies
  • Experience maintaining shared CAD libraries and engineering standards
  • Experience supporting CAD/PLM tools in aerospace, manufacturing, or another hardware engineering environment

Benefits

  • Equity – We know that our employees are the reason we succeed. To give everyone a stake in our future, we are pleased to offer equity in the form of stock options to all regular, full-time employees.
  • Comprehensive benefits program including subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • 4 weeks’ Paid Time Off
  • Holidays – 10 days (including an end-of-year closure)
  • Paid Family/Parental Leave
  • On-site gym or monthly wellness stipend (depending on location)
  • Dog friendly offices!

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 3 Range: $154,350 - $231,525
  • Level 4 Range: $192,885 - $289,380

Our job posts are intentionally written to attract a wide variety of experience levels, and we make decisions about the right fit on a per-candidate basis.
