Safety isn't a feature you add to a humanoid robot. It's the architecture you build it on
Today we're announcing a strategic partnership with FORT Robotics to extend that architecture beyond Digit itself.
Over several years, our work with FORT has grown from a single custom component into a three-part safety system: a safety pendant, on-robot communications, and — new in this partnership — an Offboard Safety Bridge that connects Digit to the safety systems already running in a customer's facility.
Why it matters: as humanoid robots take on more work in close proximity to people, safety has to hold whether the signal comes from onboard the robot or from the environment around it.
This is grounded in real deployment, not a whiteboard. Digit has logged more than 65,000 hours of real-world operation — and everything we learn there shapes what comes next.

Why this matters for talent
Agility Robotics announced a strategic safety partnership with FORT Robotics, extending Digit's existing three part safety architecture with an Offboard Safety Bridge that connects the robot to a customer's own facility safety systems. Digit has now logged more than 65,000 hours of real deployment, which is the kind of operational maturity that tends to bring in safety engineering and systems integration roles. Agility Robotics carries more than 70 open roles on the board today.
