Building a profitable EV charging business in Europe takes more than great products
It requires local scale, predictable margins, and the right partner backing.
Last week in Munich, we officially launched our European Channel Partner Program π
The program is designed to help partners build more profitable, predictable businesses by expanding recurring revenue opportunities through software, managed services, and ongoing support. Open to all authorized ChargePoint resellers, it gives partners a clear framework to scale their EV charging practices, with wholesale access available for those working toward full tier eligibility.
Available across the UK, France, DACH, Benelux, and the Nordics, program benefits scale by tier and include:
β Tiered discounts across our hardware, software, and services portfolio β Project registration and deal protection via the Partner Connect Portal β Growth rebates, joint marketing funds (MDF), and dedicated enablement
The launch was also a moment to celebrate partners leading the way. Congratulations to our award winners recognized in Munich:
π KLING Charging Solutions GmbH (Partner of the Year) π EWR GmbH Remscheid (Growth Partner of the Year) π Sonepar (Distributor of the Year) π H. Gautzsch Firmengruppe (Fastest-growing Distributor of the Year)
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special shoutout to the organizing team: Alexia Hennaut, Camilla Lundberg, JΓΌrgen Aretz, Oleg Yentin, Nicolaus Blasch, Andreas Sauer, and Patrick Lengenfelder.
Why this matters for talent
Launching a formal channel partner program in Europe is ChargePoint shifting part of its growth toward a reseller-driven model, which usually means less in-house field deployment hiring and more partner enablement and channel sales roles. Watch for that shift to show up in ChargePoint's own postings over the next few quarters. ChargePoint currently carries around 40 open roles on the jobs board.
