Our Co-founder and CEO, Jake Loosararian, joined Fox Business Network to discuss Gecko's $300m contract with the U.S. Navy

Gecko Robotics Robotics Policy October 20, 2026

Speaking with Taylor Riggs, Jake outlined the importance of this technology to ensure America's ships stay at sea for longer, instead of stuck in drydock.

Gecko can save the Navy up to $8m in repair costs alone per ship, and carry out inspections in a matter of days instead of months. The initial $71m contract was more than quadrupled in the space of six months to $300m following these results.

Why this matters for talent

Gecko's CEO noting that the initial $71 million Navy contract more than quadrupled in six months shows how fast results can turn into budget. Rapid scale-ups like this create urgent hiring for field teams and program staff. Gecko has 20 open roles on the board today.
