Oregon Department of Transportation Selects Rekor Command to Deliver Safety Alerts Directly to Drivers Statewide

Rekor Systems Mobility Infrastructure Policy September 30, 2026

Oregon is moving roadway safety forward. The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has selected Rekor Command to deliver real-time safety alerts directly to drivers across the state.

Through Rekor Command, critical roadway information — including crashes, work zones, hazardous conditions, and other safety events — can reach drivers through the navigation systems and connected services they already use.

With Oregon joining Kansas and Oklahoma, Rekor Command continues to expand its role in helping transportation agencies turn real-time roadway intelligence into information drivers can act on.

Why this matters for talent

The Oregon Department of Transportation selected Rekor Command to deliver real time roadway safety alerts statewide, Rekor's third state contract after Kansas and Oklahoma. A growing state contract base is a solid signal for Rekor's government sales and deployment engineering teams. Rekor carries 6 open roles on the board, a small count worth watching as the state footprint expands.
