When a robot asks for help, that moment becomes data

Third Wave Automation Industrial Autonomy Update November 4, 2026

Every exception one of our forklifts flags, and every decision an operator makes to resolve it, feeds back into the system so it gets better over time. Making sense of that data as a fleet grows is a challenge every robotics team shares.

Our CEO and co-founder Arshan Poursohi joins Foxglove’s panel on triaging and debugging robotics data at scale, alongside engineering leaders from Bedrock Robotics, Dexterity, Inc., and Wayve, moderated by Adrian Macneil.

Why this matters for talent

A panel notice, but with a useful point: exceptions flagged by robots and operator decisions become training data, and managing that at fleet scale is a shared problem. Robotics data tooling is a growing specialty that crosses companies. Third Wave Automation shows very few open roles on the board right now. Engineers interested in this area should note the other companies named on this panel too.
