Interoperability takes collaboration. We’re proud to join OmniAir Consortium as an Executive Private Sector member, working alongside
agencies, automakers, test laboratories and technology providers to advance connected mobility. https://lnkd.in/dVJGNrjG
OmniAir’s testing and certification programs help transportation technologies work together. We look forward to learning from fellow members and contributing our commercial operating experience with AutoKinex, including to the emerging area of V2X-enabled tolling.
"Joining OmniAir provides an important opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders on interoperability standards and V2X-enabled tolling innovations that will enhance the driver experience and support transportation agencies nationwide," said Cathi Chinn, Vice President of Innovation and Connected Vehicle Services.
Our contribution will draw on our experience operating AutoKinex, which uses vehicle telematics to identify vehicles, confirm occupancy and validate transactions before image review across tolling, HOV/HOT and road usage applications. This approach helps agencies reduce revenue leakage and manual reviews without roadside infrastructure or in-vehicle hardware, through a Connected Vehicle Program offered at no cost to the agency.
Together, we can support more interoperable solutions that improve the driver experience and serve transportation agencies nationwide.

Why this matters for talent
Joining OmniAir at the executive level puts Verra Mobility inside the room where V2X and connected tolling standards get written. That favors talent with standards, interoperability testing and connected vehicle backgrounds, a small and specialized pool. Verra Mobility has more than 60 open roles on the board.
