⚙️ NOVA software v1.23 is here, with more control over alignment, probing, and material settings

Voltera Mobility Infrastructure Update November 4, 2026

One of the biggest additions is three-point circular fiducial alignment, which helps correct pattern position, rotation, and scale for more accurate placement.

🗺️ You can also now visualize and download substrate height maps, manually add or remove probe points, and try an experimental probe-point algorithm designed to improve coverage around widely spaced features.

🧪 Material settings are easier to share too: export them as JSON files or import settings to create new material profiles.

The release also includes improvements to toolpath generation, Gerber and SVG compatibility, camera performance, dispensing behavior, Wi-Fi stability, and more.

Why this matters for talent

This one is also off-topic for our board. It is a software release for a printed electronics machine from a company named Voltera, not news from an EV charging infrastructure company, so the LinkedIn handle on this slug looks wrong. It tells you nothing about hiring in EV charging, and I would not read it that way.

Read the original LinkedIn post. Curated by Larry Sherwood Jr. from company announcements; analysis above is my own.
