Waymo's Singapore roadmap runs late this year for vehicle arrival, early 2027 for mapping and supervised operations, and early 2028 for a public launch, which is a multi-year hiring runway rather than a single announcement. Expect the earliest roles to be mapping, localization, and the Autonomous Specialist safety-driver function the company describes for the validation phase, with commercial and operations hiring following closer to the 2028 launch. Waymo already carries 323 openings on the board, and international expansion has historically added to that rather than redirected it.
